Mission

Prayer and sacrament lead outward: toward the vulnerable, toward peace, toward freedom of conscience and toward honest encounter with other Christians.
Social service
Current church publications list refugee assistance, a social centre and interdenominational service initiatives among its public ministries.
Christian encounter
The Church’s confession honours both Eastern and Western Christian heritage and its councils have pursued international and interdenominational cooperation.
A public theology of peace
Christian witness without captivity to power.
The founder generation knew what happens when religious institutions become dependent on political authority. The AOC’s strongest public contribution is therefore not geopolitical alignment but a Christian insistence on conscience, truth, mercy and the irreducible value of every person.
That does not make the Church politically neutral in the sense of indifference. It means its first loyalty is theological: to Christ and to the human person made in the image of God.
